I'm trying to reduce the number of times I expose all of my weaknesses at once. Please mark leaks with spoiler tags, like this: Smolensk is balanced!. Yes, some ships have very very good points but that is with any game of this type. Good players learn to use the advantages and avoid exposing the weakness of their ships to opposing players. While I find WOWS takes a lot of liberties in how they spec the ships, I think this is done for the good of the game. I attribute my good luck to the fact I am learning to play better as I have been making less mistakes that get you sunk. I suspect those saying the Lyon is OP have just ran up against better players or a player having a lucky battle. While I've had good luck in the very few battle's I've played so far, I haven't found the Lyon to be a ship that can change a below average player, which my numbers say I am, to a average player. I did not expect it to be overpowering as some had claimed. But I laid down my hard earned credits & XP & got the ship. So much of what I read about the Lyon was negative or that it is overpowering I was hesitant to buy.
